Kansas Army National Guard Medical Command
Four physicians from the Kansas Army National Guard’s Medical Command, Lenexa. arrived at their mobilization station, Fort Bliss, Texas, on Jan. 11, 2004, and then deployed to Iraq for 90 days to perform a variety of medical services for military personnel involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The physicians were COL Avon “Curt” Coffman, COL Daryl Callahan, COL Frederick “Chris” Good, and COL Richard Randolph. They all returned home safely in late April after providing invaluable support for the U. S. Army.
