226th Engineer Company

The 226th Engineer Company of Augusta and Iola, commanded by CPT Briean Henning, deployed to Afghanistan in early 2010 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  Prior to deployment, they conducted mission-specific training in constructing, repairing, and maintaining vertical infrastructures, including base camps and facilities.  They are expected to be deployed for 12 months.
